Distance Learning Phase III

On May 3, 2020 by Jamee M Childs

Welcome to the Red Bank Elementary School Distance Learning Page! Click here to read a letter from Mrs. Ricard. You can find all of the activities for your child’s grade level by clicking on one of the links below. It is not necessary to print these activities. They can be completed on a separate sheet of paper. However, if you would like a printed copy, please call the school at 821-4600 and we will gladly get one together for you. Additionally, many companies are providing free access to their online resources. We will add to this list as we come across more of them so check back regularly!

Teachers will touch base with families on a weekly basis. Feel free to take photos of your child’s work and send it to their teacher for feedback.

The Phase III Distance Learning Experience packets will be available for pick up on May 4 between 8:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. and between 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. We ask that you return outstanding library books that you may have. This is especially important for our fifth grade students. If your child has any Reading Recovery or Intervention books at home in their books baggies, please return these at this time. We will have your child’s personal belongings remaining in their rooms bagged and ready for pick up. We look forward to seeing you all! Please come through the K-2 Carline/Bus Loop side.

Special education speech materials will be available via Seesaw.  It is important that you activate your child’s account to receive this information digitally.  If you need help creating your Seesaw count please email one of our speech pathologists lcarpenterparrish@lexington1.net or mshumpert@lexington1.net. Thank you!

Due to the continued closure of our school buildings in response to the current pandemic, we are making preparations for closing the health room. If your student has medication in the health room that will need to be picked up, school nurses will be available to return your student’s medications to you from 8:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. as follows:

Student last name          Pick up date

A-D                                  Tuesday, May 5

L-R                                  Thursday, May 7

S-Z                                  Friday, May 8

We do not store medications at school over the summer. If your student’s medicine is not picked up by Friday, May 15, 2020, the school nurse will have to destroy it. If you need to make special arrangements, please call the school nurse at 803-821-4623.
