Thank you to the families who joined us for our Math/Literacy Night last week!  We had a great time with many great activities!  We have a busy week coming up. As we celebrate Read Across America Week, we will have some fun dress up days.  We will also have opportunities to celebrate literacy, to recognize different authors, and to explore different reading genres.  Please see the important reminders below:

  • On Monday, March 2,  we will have “Wacky Monday.”  Wear your “Wacky/Tacky Clothes.”Parents of rising 6th graders are encouraged to attend Parent Night at CSMS from 6 until 7 p.m.
  • Tuesday, March 3 will be “Cat in the Hat Day.”  Wear your favorite hat! We will host an Inquiry Lab through the State Department’s Office of Personalized Learning with visitors from other schools. The Rising Star Program meets from 2:30 until 4:30 p.m. The Lexington One School Board will meet at 7:00 p.m. at the Central Services Auditorium.
  • Wednesday, March 4 will be “Fox in Socks Day.” Wear your crazy or mismatched socks! Archery Group A will meet from 2:30 until 3:30 p.m.
  • Thursday, March 5 will be “Green Eggs & Ham Day.” Wear the color green! The “Grandfamily Group Coffee & Talk” will be held at 7:30 a.m. The Rising Star Program meets from 2:30 until 4:30 p.m.  The Etiquette Dinner will be held from 6 until 8 p.m.
  • Friday, March 6 will be “Dr. Seuss Day.” Dress as your favorite Dr. Seuss character! The Good News Club will meet from 2:30 until 4 p.m.
  • On Sunday, March 8, Daylight Savings Time begins.  Remember to spring forward one hour!
  • Also as a reminder, we are continuing to register for our K4 Needs-Based program as well as the newly formed K4 Tuition Based program.  All students new to 5K should be registering at this time as well.  Please call or stop by RBE to get more information.
